What areas does your BusForUs route cover?

121CS Sultanahmet – Beylerbeyi Line

Red Line (Outbound): Sultanahmet, Eminönü, Karaköy, Galataport, Dolmabahçe Palace, Naval Museum

Blue Line (Return): Beylerbeyi Palace, Beşiktaş Bazaar, Taksim Square, Şişhane, Egyptian Bazaar, Sultanahmet

What is the departure point for tours?

🚌 The starting point of our tours is Sultanahmet Square.

However, you can join our tour from any of our stops.

Note: You should carefully check the last departure time here and make sure that when you board from intermediate stops, there is a new trip departing from our first stop, Sultanahmet Stop.

How can I buy a ticket from the website?

You can easily purchase your ticket from https://busforus.istanbul without becoming a member.

During the ticket purchase process, you will only be asked for personal information such as name, surname, email address and ticket date.

This information is only required for your journey and is not used for any other purpose.

Can I choose my seat?

Sorry, seat selection is not available.

Additionally, it is prohibited to leave personal belongings on the seat or occupy the seat during break times.

Warning: Your belongings may be lost or damaged. Also, Istanbul Transportation Inc. does not take responsibility if the seat can be used by another passenger.

What are the working days and hours?

Busforus operates every day of the week between 08:00 - 17:00.

What are the call center working days and hours?

Our call center operates on weekdays between 08:00 - 17:00, except for official holidays.

Where can I submit my requests or complaints about BusForUs service?

You can send all your requests, suggestions and complaints to busforus@ulasim.istanbul via email. You can also contact us through the same address for support regarding purchasing processes.

Note: When submitting requests regarding tickets purchased from agencies, please don't forget to include your ticket information and agency name in your email.

What services are included in the ticket price?

With the support of our vehicle staff, you can explore Istanbul's historic peninsula with disposable headphones, internet access and digital equipment services. After your ticket is activated, you can join all BUSFORUS trips with suitable capacity for 24 hours during operating hours, and you can hop on and off as much as you want.

Until when can I use my ticket?

You must activate your ticket within one year from the date of purchase. You can use your activated ticket for 24 hours. Tickets not used within one year after purchase are cancelled and no refund is given.

Can I get information about bulk ticket purchase?

You can get information about our special offers by sending your requests for bulk ticket purchases to our company at busforus@ulasim.istanbul.

Is VAT included in the ticket price?

VAT is included in the ticket price.

VEHICLE SERVICE QUALITY COMPLIANCE CONTROL

What is TAHKUK?

TAHKUK (Public Transport Vehicle Service Quality Compliance Control) is an inspection service for the compliance of public transport vehicles with service quality standards, carried out by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM).

At our TAHKUK stations, we ensure that public transportation services in Istanbul meet certain criteria in terms of quality, safety and comfort from 2023 to the present.

Where is TAHKUK Control Performed?

TAHKUK controls are carried out at our stations on the European and Asian sides.

What Should Be Done Before Coming to TAHKUK Control?

1. Review Service Quality Indicators

Your vehicle must comply with the equipment and service quality standards specified in UKOME decisions.

Sample Requirements:

  • The vehicle must have a working camera system,
  • The inside and outside of the vehicle must be clean,
  • Door and lock systems must be complete and working,
  • There should be no deformation in the seats and interior,
  • Vehicle heating and cooling system must be working.

By checking these steps, you can come prepared for the TAHKUK process and prevent possible deficiencies.

2. Pay the TAHKUK Fee Before Coming to the Station

Before coming to your appointment, the TAHKUK Fee must be paid completely and fully to avoid delays in your control processes.

You can make the payment through the following bank channels:

What is the TAHKUK Fee?

Except for complaint-based processes, TAHKUK fees vary according to the type and model year (age) of the vehicle. You can use the following query screen to learn the current fee for your vehicle:

What is Complaint-Based TAHKUK?

Following notifications from citizens, public transport vehicles can also be subject to complaint-based control.

In this case, a single TAHKUK fee is applied regardless of the type of vehicle.

📌 Note: Standard control processes are also valid in complaint-based TAHKUK application. The vehicle's compliance with service quality indicators is inspected.

How Can I Check My TAHKUK Appointment?

You can easily query the appointment date, time and station information for TAHKUK control:

⚠️ Important: You must bring your vehicle to the specified station at the appointment time.

If the specified time and location are not followed, the control process cannot be performed.

What Happens After TAHKUK?

TAHKUK kontrolü tamamlandıktan sonra aracınızın durumuna göre aşağıdaki işlemler gerçekleşir:

Sorunsuz Geçen Araçlar:
Eğer aracınızda eksiklik tespit edilmezse ve UKOME kararlarında belirtilen yaş sınırı içinde yer alıyorsa, mevcut çalışma ruhsatınız 1 yıl süreyle uzatılır.

⚠️ Eksiklik Tespit Edilen Araçlar:
Araçta uygunluk kriterlerine aykırılıklar bulunursa, size bir Eksiklik Formu verilir.
Bu formda belirtilen süre içinde gerekli düzeltmeler yapılmalıdır.

📌 Dikkat: Belirtilen süre içinde eksiklikler giderilmezse, ruhsat yenileme işlemi gerçekleştirilemez.

🔄 İkinci Kontrol:
Eksiklikler giderildikten sonra, randevu almaya gerek kalmadan aynı TAHKUK istasyonına başvurarak ikinci kontrol yapılabilir.
